Plate heat exchanger is a kind of heat exchanger, which is made of thin metal plates pressed into heat exchange plates with certain wavy shape, then stacked and fastened with splints and bolts. Thin rectangular channels are formed between various plates, through which heat is exchanged. The working fluid flows through a narrow and tortuous channel formed between two plates.
